You’re invited to participate in the BIGGEST TWO-DAY Fundraising Event for Georgetown County…..and for Teach My People during the 36 hour Palmetto Giving Day!

Dear Friends and Loyal Supporters,

It’s that time of year again... We are busy preparing for Palmetto Giving Day! This event has become so important to us because you have helped Teach My People grow and become sustainable.

So May 4 - 5, 2021, we will ALL do something remarkable AGAIN for Georgetown County: Raise as much money as possible for the organizations throughout Georgetown County that make our community vibrant.

This past year has been challenging for all of us. But it is now time for us to get back to focusing on the future of our 144 and 12 college students – Thus our theme this year: #Back2Future. We are going back to focusing on our students’ education, health, mental strength, family and community. Our fundraising goal is $175,000 to support our Afterschool and Summer Programs in Pawleys Island and Georgetown! For every gift given to Teach My People through PalmettoGivingDay.org, we will have a chance to earn a total match of $53,500 (and growing) from the combined commitments of the Falk-Griffin Foundation, Mustard Seed Family Foundation, Georgetown Presbyterian Church, Tamsberg Family Foundation, Palmetto Cheese, Harry and Beckie Butler, Eric and Erin Spatz, Taylor and Gruber, CPA and The Frances P. Bunnelle Foundation.

PalmettoGivingDay.org is our online resource that connects donors with nonprofit organizations throughout Georgetown County. Giving on-line is the BIGGEST objective! Friends, families and associates can visit PalmettoGivingDay.org anytime between 6:00 am on May 4th through 6:00 pm on May 5th, search for Teach My People and click “Donate Now.”

We are thankful for Palmetto Giving Day -- It is a shining light within our community as we see nonprofit friends virtually gather together to make a difference in our community.

2. Visit www.palmettogivingday.org on Tuesday, May 4-5th and make an investment in Teach My People.
