It feels like we are getting back to a place of normalcy... which is a welcomed changed. Even through we sent an update a few weeks ago I wanted to share some exciting news with our club members. This past week we had three students graduate from college! This brings our total to nine students graduating from college.


Mirah graduated from John C. Smith University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Management, dual minoring in Sports Medicine and Exercise Science. Mirah has applied for graduate school at UNC Charlotte for Kinesiology and waiting to hear back from UNC for acceptance into the program.

 


Joseph graduated from Shaw University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice. Joseph was a hard worker and most semesters made the Dean's List. Joseph will be pursuing a career in law enforcement.

 


Laina graduated from Lander University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology. Laina worked three jobs to make it through school. Laina's desire is to pursue a master's degree in order to become a family counselor.


All three students are Falk-Griffin Scholars receiving a $1,500 scholarship each year (for four years) from the Falk-Griffin Foundation!
