In 1977, my father, Gordon Dancy, introduced the plastic grocery bag to America. The invention of a convenient, user-friendly plastic sack along with the simple question, “Paper or Plastic?” revolutionized the grocery bag industry and changed consumer behavior. Today, four decades after my father made his mark, there is another need for change in consumer behavior.

This Spring, TMP partnered with Kristen Brown's "MyEco" project to help advocate the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling. We have worked to discover the value of reducing, reusing, and recycling and are now exploring ways we can be apart of the change! Along with Kristen's help, News 13 featured the Teach My People students in their green project.
