Teach My People serves the 'at-risk' youth of the Waccamaw Neck area, first through ninth grades. (A grade is added to our program each school year so that our students are cared for and mentored throughout their elementary and high school years.)
We strive daily to equip them to overcome academic, economic, and social challenges, by providing high quality, organized after school programs at no cost and a 8 week summer enrichment program for grades 1-8 at a nominal fee. These programs are based on Christian principles and values.
We are thankful to have more than fifty community volunteers providing weekly support at the center.
About Us...
TMP was founded in 1999, and met at Waccamaw Elementary School until 2004 when the Teach My People Christian Youth Center was completed and dedicated at 753 Waverly Road, Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
